Games I Love

Since I was young, I loved Video games, and they have made a huge impact on me. They influenced my ideas and made me grow. They also encouraged me to want to create my own games and get into programming. These are a few such games.

Golden Sun

Golden Sun is a game for the Game Boy Advance. It was not the first game I played, but it left me with a rather vivid memory of watching a kid at summer camp playing it for a moment and getting to tackle a puzzle myself. Although I only got to play it for maybe 15 minutes. I remembered it 2 years later and tracked it down to play it to completion myself.

RuneScape

Runescape, specifically Runescape 2, was my first MMORPG. I originally stumbled upon it in my freshman year of high school during free time in a computer lesson. It was on a site called Miniclips, which collated a lot of flash games, and I just so happened to play and enjoy it. It was a great binding agent, and I met and kept a bunch of friends from my highschool because of it. I still log on every once in a while and chat with my clan which is still going.

Final Fantasy XI Online

The most influential MMORPG of my life. It is rather embarrasing to say I have spent way more time on this game than I have done a lot of other things. I first played this summer of sophomore year of high school. I got this game as a gift for a birthday, but could not pay for the monthly fee. A friend from school and helped me pay for one month, and I was hooked. I still play this pretty regularly with the goal of getting all my jobs to the best they can be.
